From its very inception, Paris–Le Bourget Airport has been continuingly connected with aviation history. Apart from general aviation, it has been hosting a variety of air shows. The aeroplane hangers with vast open spaces, polished concrete floors and high ceilings inspire this exhibition centre’s design. The venue hosts events of various formats such as trade fairs, conferences, aviation shows, and more. Additionally, the exhibition complex run by Viparis offers a variety of supportive services for trade fair participants. The goal is to provide a full experience for exhibitors and make the arrangement of everything surrounding an event as easy as possible. This makes the exhibition complex a hot spot for the aviation industry.
The main facilities of the exhibition area include 5 halls and 6 conference rooms that span on an area as large as 80 000 m². Paris le Bourget exhibition centre is located about 7 kilometres north of Paris, in the vicinity of the Le Bourget airport. It is also a 15-minute drive away from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport, which provides some additional connections with important European cities. The venue is also reachable by car and public transportation. In 2013, the premises attracted more than 315 000 international visitors and 2 200 trade fair exhibitors from 44 countries.
