One of the largest convention and exhibition centres in London, ExCeL London, has opened its doors on November 2000. Since then, the venue has welcomed millions of international visitors, exhibitors, and event organisers from across the globe. The expo complex is a participant in the world’s largest business sustainability scheme - UN Global Compact Scheme. It addresses issues such as Human Rights, Environment, Sustainability, Labour, Anti-Corruption by carefully assessing and further developing the premises as well as the services offered. The exhibition grounds are located near London - one of the world’s largest business growth arenas and a launchpad for technological and financial advancements.
The exhibition grounds are extremely flexible and consist of two large column-free halls with an approximate size of 44 546 m² each. Smaller events and meetings can be arranged in the 3 function rooms of the venue. All exhibition spaces are flexible enough to host small and large events alike, and the rooms are equipped with a high-speed internet connection and multimedia facilities. The premises are also abundant with bars, cafeterias, restaurants, and about 3 700 parking spots. ExCeL London has hosted numerous conferences, public and private events, trade fairs, product launches, and even weddings. Some of the well-known events include the London Boat Show, MCM London Comic Con, Grand Designs Live, British International Motor Show and DSEi. In 2012, the complex hosted several events for the Olympics and Paralympics.
